ETS Southwest Region Spring Conference

The conference begins tomorrow afternoon with a presentation by Dr. D. Jeffrey Bingham, one of my favorite profs at DTS right now. Jonathan Moorhead, a contributor to this blog, is presenting a paper along with several others professors and students from Dallas Seminary. If you have not registered yet, I believe you can register at the door but I am not sure about that. Please click the link above for more information.

From the conference website:
"The 2007 Southwest Regional Spring meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society will feature special plenary sessions by Dr. John D. Woodbridge and Dr. D. Jeffrey Bingham and papers presented by a score of other theological scholars. The theme is "The Enlightenment and Biblical Theology." For additional information, you may call Matthew Beasley at 817-923-1921, ext. 2439. Registration for the conference is $20 per person. Lunch is included for the first 250 people who register. Out-of-town guests may obtain guest rooms in the conference center if space is available, by calling 817-921-8800."

Hi Jeff,

I got the schedule for the conference in the mail a while back. It looked very interesting. I wish I could have gone.

Did you go? If so, how was it? Get any sweet deals on books?

Yeah, they were good. I sat in on Moorhead's paper Sat. Good stuff. Dutch Calvinists rule. ;)

I've been reading Bavinck lately. Very good indeed! Can hardly wait for Volume four of the Baker series to come out. I think it will contain his ecclesiology.
