Reading in 2008
Each year in Preaching Magazine Al Mohler lists his "top 10 books every preacher should read." Here's the list for 2008:

Against Heresies by Ireneaus
Finding the Will of God: A Pagan Notion? by Bruce Waltke
The Christian Tradition Vol 2 by Jaroslav Pelikan
Revivalism by Iain Murray
Of those, I've read Murray and Waltke and enjoyed them both.
In fact, Waltke is the best I've read on that subject, at least the one that most resonated with me.
